Job Type: Full Time Onsite Monday-Friday (8:30AM-5:15PM)
Job Description: BRAVO Group currently has an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Structural design and analysis for a wide range of buildings projects, involving steel, concrete, masonry, wood, and archaic building systems.
- Assisting in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
- Conducting site investigations to document existing conditions.
- Project Management of staff and clients.
- Providing mentoring and guidance to junior staff.
- Maintaining involvement in professional organizations to keep abreast of new industry developments.
Minimum Requirements
- 6-12 years of experience in the execution of residential, commercial, or institutional buildings projects as a Structural Engineer is required.
- Experience in historic buildings preservation would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with computer analysis software (e.g., RISA, SAP, RAM).
- Working knowledge of REVIT.
- Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions.
- Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients’ toughest challenges.
- High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
- Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- NYS P.E. license mandatory
- Master’s Degree (Would be considered an asset)
- S.E. license (Would be considered an asset)
Salary Range: $125,000-$155,000
